SUV Crashes Into Choates Creek, Mother and Kids Entrapped, LIVINGSTON, August 16, 2023 - At around 5 am on August 16, 2023, the driver of a black Dodge Crossroad (name of driver not yet released), was south-bound on the US-59 Feeder Road. The driver entered a curve too fast at the U-Turn at Choates Creek, drove off the pavement, into the weeds, and all the way into Choates Creek. Her vehicle came to rest on its driver's side facing north, wedged in the creek. Allegiance Ambulance Service, Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, and Officers with Livingston Police Department were dispatched to the scene. According to sources, all were rescued.
