Mark Esper, under President Trump, made mention Directed Energy Weapons during a Press Conference while at the Pentagon in 2020, implying the systems are already in use & have been for sometime with warfare between Russia & China.

Lockheed Martin announced as far back as 2015, that these systems would be operational by 2020. 🚩🚩🚩
