MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TO DEVELOP A NATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORK

Ministry of education and sports is to embark on developing a National Qualifications framework where other existing qualification frameworks like the higher education’s qualifications framework and Uganda accountability qualifications framework will be integrated to make one.
The permanent secretary ministry of educations and sports Kate Lamaro while inaugurating a committee and secretariat of stakeholders from various departments of education headed by the Director Higher Education and TVET Jane Egau as the chairperson said the framework once developed will make it possible for the world of work to make informed decisions about the competences of learners graduating from different educational settings within and outside the country.
