Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the outright acquittal for at least 17 counts of felony child neglect as well as a slew of other charges for former Broward County Sheriff and School Resource Officer, Scot Peterson. As many of you may recall, officer Peterson was accused of standing down during the mass shooting at the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018 in Parkland, Florida. This was a huge win for his defense team but did the jury get the verdict right?
