With the aim of restoring unity and mobilizing people to support the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Kira municipality Wakiso district, NRM flag bearers have formed a joint committee to ensure support of the people in the district.
This was reached at in an engagement held by the NRM Flag bearers in Kira Municipality.
Leaders say, although they participated in the elections on the NRM ticket, thier failure was attributed to various challenges among others Covid 19.
NRM flag bearers who participated in the 2021 general elections but didn't pull through form the divisions of Kira Municipality including, Kira, Namugongo and Bweyogerere have today morning held an engagement to devise means on how best they can regain public support in the district especially in the incoming elections of 2026.
