A Heart for Reconciliation or Division?

Hearing God's Voice. A Divine moment. A moment of conflict among friends.
Seeking Truth in a world bent on concealing it. To love means regardless of what you believe, you treat people the same; the way you'd like to be treated.
So are you a peacemaker, a reconciler? Or are you an instigator and divisive?

Whats your gift? Whatever it is, it will be wasted if there isn't an intentional focus on God's word. Head knowledge and scripture study is useless if you can't put it into action. You can speak with the eloquence of an angel, but if you don't have love, you're nothing but a clanging gong. Noise. To be a peacemaker, a spirit of truth and love is needed. Jumping to conclusions and taking sides without hearing from both parties is an exercise in futility and doesn't do justice to truth and reconciliation. We are all called to be ministers of reconciliation, and like exercising our gifts, its only possible if eyes are focused on Christ. On His Word daily. Take a day off, and watch the enemy pounce.

Let us all be peacemakers and not judges in this fallen world. Words are meaningless without proper intention behind them.

The Ministry of Reconciliation
2 Corinthians 5:16-21
"From now on, then, we do not know anyone in a purely human way. Even if we have known Christ in a purely human way, yet now we no longer know Him in this way. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come. Everything is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God.” He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."
