Epic Battle Fantasy 4 (PC) - Epic Mode - Part 34: Rainbow Rafflesia Superboss Fight (All Challenges)

As we continue our ascent up Battle Mountain, we now encounter the fourth of the area's Superbosses, Rainbow Rafflesia! This stronger version of Rafflesia uses magic attacks from many different elements, so get some balanced resistances before going in. This boss also summons a new minion known as the Rainbloom every turn. These also have many different elements at their disposal. Rainbow Rafflesia has immunity to Weaken status, so the Debuff Trifecta isn't entirely effective though you can Curse it and make it Tired. When it drops below half HP, Rainbow Rafflesia will start to heal itself, buff its Magic Attack and Defense, and Bless itself for 9 turns effectively making it immune to being debuffed (including Dispel so you can't remove the Bless). It also starts using its ultimate Rainbow Beam attack, which does enough damage to kill one of your party members five times over. You can avoid it if your evasion is buffed enough and RR's accuracy is debuffed enough, though. Morale status also helps to defend against it.

After taking down Rainbow Rafflesia, you enter an area resembling Goldenbrick Resort, and if you go north from there, you enter another sky area resembling the Temple of Godcat. If you have the Winged Boots you can walk across into the other cave side entrance to activate the central door in the main entrance from Rainbow Rafflesia's screen.
