The Declaration of Independence is probably the most important founding document ever constructed beyond the Pentateuch in the Bible. If you are in America, it is vitally important to you. If you do not, it is still important because it evidences for all people the importance of accountability, community, majority rule, and unbiased representation of the people to intill a nation where everyone can thrive with equal opportunity. Unfortunately, it is rarely read anymore and is taught less and less to children, leading to a disregard for the values it expresses, the freedoms it seeks, and the order it was devised to establish. In this episode, I read the entire document and discuss it briefly. Share it with your friends and families and encourage them to think about it. Really think about it, mull over it, process it, and appreciate its truth, power, and significance.
