Friends? is the eighth episode of Survivor: The Australian Outback.

Day 24
The Immunity Challenge is a life-size version of the pen-and-paper game "Dots and Boxes," in which players must complete squares by connecting lines between dots. Keith has a huge turn by taking 17 squares at once, giving him his second straight Immunity victory, despite Tina trying to make a run for it with 16 squares.

As the vote approaches, Elisabeth is hopeful that she can turn the tables on Jerri. Alicia, though, is less optimistic. She thinks that either Nick or herself will be booted, because they're the biggest challenge threats on Kucha. At Tribal Council, Alicia's suspicions are proven correct. Deemed as the strongest remaining Kucha female, she is booted in a tight 5-4 vote over Jerri. Alicia becomes the first member of the jury.

“ (voting against Alicia) Alicia, you're a great gal. This is just strictly part of the game, and it's part of our process. I look forward to hangin' out with ya. ”

TINA
“ (voting against Alicia) Alicia, I want you to take this vote as a compliment, because the only reason why you're getting this vote is because we see you as the biggest, strongest competitor on the old Kucha tribe. Miss you, girl. ”

AMBER
“ (voting against Alicia) My vote's for Alicia, and girl, you are strong inside and out. And, uh, that's the main reason why I have to vote for you-- 'cause you're threatening. So, this is a respect vote, and I'm going to miss you a lot. ”

COLBY
“ (voting against Alicia) Alicia, man, you rock. Uh... I've had a lot of fun getting to know you, and I really, really wish this didn't have to happen the way it does, but it is part of the game plan that was set into action a long time ago, and this is the way we've chosen to play. Um... I just... I just, wish I wish it didn't have to happen so soon. ”

RODGER
“ (voting against Jerri) Nice kid, but way too loud. Way too loud. ”

JERRI
“ (voting against Alicia) Alicia, this is extremely hard to vote for you because we are so similar, and I feel like I really bonded with you, and there are -- we just have a lot of similarities. Um... but I want you to know that this is a flattery vote. Because, not only do you intimidate the hell out of the women around here, but also the men. They are scared to death of you. So, I wish you the best, and I look forward to seeing you sitting feet away from me every three days. ”

Final Words
ALICIA
“ I have to say that I was expecting this. We knew that I was going to be a threat, and I just hope somebody from Kucha can take this thing out and break Ogakor's spirit. It's all good, though. Now I get to sit on the jury and watch everything that happens. Peace, out. ”

After this episode, Elisabeth Filarski is the last woman remaining from Kucha.

Season Summary
The sixteen castaways were divided into two tribes, Kucha and Ogakor. While Ogakor began the game strong by winning the first Immunity and Reward Challenges, Kucha quickly rebounded and won the next Immunity Challenge, reducing Ogakor to five members. Ogakor broke their losing streak by winning the Day 15 Immunity Challenge, sending Kucha back to Tribal Council; after a medical evacuation, Kucha lost their third member, merging the two tribes with five members each. The ten remaining survivors called themselves the Barramundi tribe.

The 5-5 stalemate caused the tribes to be deadlocked the first time they went to Tribal Council, but Jeff from Kucha had past votes, bounding the former Kuchas to extinction. Three of the five former Ogakors, Colby, Keith and Tina, became the deciding factor in most of the votes, even eliminating two of their own when they could afford to before finishing off the remaining Kuchas to...
