Herbicide Atrazine Inside The City Water System Induces Feminization & Chemical Castration In Frogs

Tyrone B. Hayes (born July 29, 1967) is an American biologist and professor of Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley known for his research findings concluding that the herbicide atrazine is an endocrine disruptor that demasculinizes and feminizes male frogs.

Atrazine is a pesticide that is applied to more than half the corn crops in the United States and is widely used on golf courses and Christmas tree farms. Atrazine causes sexual abnormalities in frogs and could cause the same problems in humans
