Unlock the Bible Now! - Confession and Forgiveness Show Notes

Summary:
It is my belief that there remains much misunderstanding in the Church about confession and forgiveness of sins. I believe this confusion has survived for many years, and it is largely due to a failure to understand the national salvation program to Israel that was put on hold nearly 2,000 years ago when that nation rejected Christ as Messiah. Today I hope to give clarity on confession and forgiveness.

Takeaway:
The prophets foretold of the New Covenant which Jesus offered to Israel. It will not be until after the nation confesses their error in rejecting Christ that God will establish His covenant with them again, and this is when He will take away their sins. If the nation does not confess their offense, God will not give them forgiveness. It is conditional upon them receiving Christ, and the forgiveness is future.

We praise God that forgiveness of sins for us today is complete, whole, and accomplished! We don’t wait for anything but the Lord’s return to gather us to Himself in the air. We will return with Him after Israel is tried as silver is purified in the fire, and the remaining 1/3 that endure to the end will see His triumphant return in glory with all His saints!
