Having an emotional reaction to something can be immediate, but it is often fleeting and does not always reflect the reality of a situation. Therefore, relying solely on emotions when trying to accomplish something can be detrimental. It is much better to use logic and reason when making decisions in order to ensure that decisions are made for the right reasons and with the best possible outcome in mind.

Relying too heavily on feelings can lead to rash decisions being made that may not necessarily be the right ones. For example, if someone wants to accomplish a goal but feels overwhelmed or scared by what it takes to get there, they might give up without even trying due to their emotional state. Alternatively, if someone makes a decision based on how they feel at the moment without considering the consequences, this could result in undesirable outcomes that could have been avoided had proper thought and reasoning gone into the decision-making process.

It’s important not to rely so much on feelings when wanting to achieve something because it limits our ability to think objectively and strategically about what needs to be done. Taking actionable steps that are focused on success rather than emotion will ultimately lead us closer towards achieving our goals and objectives. With this approach, we can better assess where we are currently at and figure out what needs to be done in order to reach our desired outcome. Additionally, having an action plan in place helps us more effectively manage our time and resources so that we don’t run into any roadblocks along the way.
