I don’t think my presence at BRICS summit is more important that my being here – Putin

Vladimir Putin, while talking to the press after the Russia-Africa Summit, has commented on not travelling to the BRICS forum next month. He noted that he is in contact with his counterparts and with members of the group, but that the importance of his presence there can't exceed that of being in Russia.
