Epic Battle Fantasy 4 (PC) - Epic Mode - Part 27: Welcome To Battle Mountain

After traversing the entire main game (except the final boss), it's now time to enter the optional bonus area known as Battle Mountain! This area is a small area with screens based on the various areas in the main game, requiring key items from the main game to progress past certain areas. The enemy encounters here consist of monster marathons (usually 6-8 waves) and a plethora of Superbosses including alternate stronger versions of the main game bosses and a few new bosses including dark versions of the players and a certain infamous enemy from EBF3 that never showed up in the main game.

It's also worth noting that all encounters here scale to your current level and do not give any XP or money. For my first foray into Battle Mountain, I'm fighting the lava cave monster marathon (requires lava boots from Lankyroot Jungle) and progressing toward the dreaded Cosmic Monolith that lies past it...
