If your control sticks are damaged, if the rubber pad has worn out or was destroyed by pets - you can easily switch out those old thumbsticks for new ones - for under ten dollars.

The repair will only take you around 5-10 minutes, and the chances of breaking something is very slim, provided you are careful.

You don't have to completely disassemble the controller for this repair. You don't have to deal with wires or anything complicated. It's as simple as popping off the covers on the handles, removing five screws, pulling off the old sticks, and putting the new ones on. It really is a simple repair.

I recommend this repair for those who prefer the original feel of the Xbox controllers vs. adding thumbstick covers over the damaged control sticks.

We'll be using TOMSIN replacement thumbsticks, but the repair will be the same for any brand.

The TOMSIN thumbsticks feel OEM! The rubber pad is the same, the grip is the same, the thumb groove is the same, and the size is the same. When comparing to a brand new Xbox Series X|S wireless controller, I can't feel any difference.

We are using a green color thumbstick, but you can get several different colors that fit your style.
