Such medical camps aim at raising awareness among Ugandans about the burden of cancer
The Rotary clubs of Ggaba corridor have conducted a medical camp at Ggaba landing site to offer free medical screening of breast and cervical cancer, among others.
Ugandans have been urged to regularly go for check-ups and cancer screening for early diagnosis to reduce on the number of people who die of cancer every year.
This was during the launch of Rotary cancer run 2023 for Rotary clubs on Ggaba corridor where Rotary seeks to raise 4.5 billion dollars to build two bankers at Nsambya Hospital to conduct radiotherapy to cancer patients
