SCRIPTURES:

BY THE LAYING ON OF HANDS ~ II Timothy 1:6 NKJV
"Therefore I remind you to stir up the Gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands."

BY PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD ~

1. DESIRING
2. PURSUING
3. CONTINUING

1. DESIRING:
Spirit answers to spirit. The flesh by itself profits nothing. We tend to look for a formula of spoken words or works of the flesh, to guarantee an outcome or success. But with God it always begins with the heart. We are looking for His partnership,, not to bend or manipulate His will. The heart is the seat of true desire that leads us to pursuit. So the first principle is to be brutally honest. Ask yourself this question: 'Do I REALLY want this?' If the answer is 'yes,' then its time to move on to the next question.

Holy Spirit through James said: (2:19‭-‬20‭, ‬26 NKJV)

"You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

"The sovereignty of God most often works in partnership, with both the will, and the corresponding actions, of human beings."

2. PURSUING:

The next question you must ask yourself is: 'How much do I want this, and what am I willing to do to obtain it?' Because if you are willing to do little or nothing besides waiting (waiting on the 'sovereignty' or will of God, you'll likely never receive what you long for. Desire is not enough. True or Living desire, will most often lead to pursuing the object one desires. Even the very Glory of God:

WHEN THEY ACTED THE CLOUD CAME ~ II Chronicles 5:13‭-‬14 NKJV
"indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God."

WHEN THEY SACRIFICED THE GLORY CAME ~ II Chronicles 7:1‭-‬2 NKJV
"When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s House."

SHAKING LEADS TO GLORY ~ Haggai 2:5‭-‬9
"‘According to the Word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear! For thus says the Lord of Hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while), I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this Temple with glory,’ says the Lord of Hosts. The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts. The glory of this Latter Temple shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of Hosts. And in this place I will give Peace,’ says the Lord of Hosts.”

"One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the House of the Lord ALL THE [every] DAYS OF MY LIFE, to behold the Beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His Temple."
