Shield Hero's Biggest Flaw

I'm gonna go full snob for this. Ever watch an anime and think "wow, this protagonist is awful" and then wonder what could be done to fix it? For Rising of the Shield Hero, only one change is needed: Make the Spear Hero the point of view for the first season's story. If they did it that way, then not only would you not have to deal with the MC's grumbling, but you would also get a compelling narrative. It's that simple.
