NABBANJA MEETS THE POPE IN ROME

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda Robinah Nabbanja has met the Holy Father Pope Francis in the Vatican.
Nabbanja was ushered in with her Delegation to the Vatican and had a closed door meeting with the pope for 25 minutes discussing a number of issues.
In the meeting, the Pope Francis commended Uganda for its willingness to host refugees.
After the one-on-one meeting with the Holy Father Nabbanja says that they discussed a wide range of issues including the Refugee situation in Uganda and the recently passed Law on Anti Homosexuality.
Nabbanja says that the Pope lauds the government of Uganda for its open door policy to refugees to help mankind.
However, Nabbanja says that the Pontiff welcomed the new law of Anti homosexuality but asked for a review to deal with the death sentence.
