No more timber export, police to implement presidential directive.

The Uganda Police has deployed tactical units in Timber trafficking hotspots especially at the border post to implement an executive order to counter the exportation of timber and illegal charcoal dealings.
This follows President Museveni’s directive which banned the exportation of timber in a bid to conserve the environment.
