This Terrifying Dash Cam Footage Will Make Your Heart JUMP!
"This is probably one of the scariest incidents I've had on the road. Because of the wide angle lens on my dash cam, everything looks further away than it actually is. The car jumped in front of me with not more than 12 feet clearance then slammed on the brakes, couldn't jump to the left because of another truck passing me. It was either slam on the brakes or nail the car." - says the man behind the wheel.
The driver narrowly avoids a collision with a lorry and a car because of his quick-thinking mind. If it wasn’t for his skillful driving, he would have suffered a double accident. He was fortunate enough thanks to his quick reaction and reflexes. This video is yet another sad example of reckless driving and its dangerous consequences. Most of the times, drivers' poor maneuvering skills are the direct cause of an accident, along with speeding. Road safety and responsible driving are of the utmost importance and by watching this video, you can clearly see why. Always drive safe and remember that you're not the only participant in traffic, and everyone is jeopardized when you take thoughtless actions.
In case you are wondering what might have happened had the semi driver decided not to break, check out this video of an incredibly similar incident. An SUV pulls out in front of the semi, changes lanes with it and then decides to slow down right in front of the massive vehicle. The driver might have thought it would be funny to show the semi driver the finger, so the semi gave him a “pat" on the rear bumper.
Everybody hates reckless drivers because they risk their lives and the lives of others just for the sake of adrenaline and thrill. Sometimes they do it because they are in a hurry, but aren’t we all? Bad drivers are often the cause of road traffic accidents and dangerous collisions. Sometimes they are caught on camera performing illegal manoeuvres on the road.
There are tons of videos with reckless drivers and here we will suggest you to watch the one where a dash cam footage shows the moment when a reckless driver decides to violently switch lanes while speeding, nearly causing a highway pileup. This video filmed in Australia shows the moment when a reckless driver tries to avoid traffic by violently switching lanes on a busy highway, avoiding a close call with incoming traffic and almost causing massive highway pileup! Luckily, the driver from the incoming car had some serious reflexes and knew how to handle insane drivers, so he made a swift movement and avoided multiple-vehicle collision! The conclusion? Never brake check a semi! Drive safe and remember, better late than never.
