Divorce isn’t to be celebrated

“Divorce is a tragedy. Even if it was life-saving in the case of abuse, it is still indicative of at least one hardened heart towards the Lord. This makes me sad.” Divorce should make us sad. But even sadder still, is that we’ve all largely become indifferent to it. We’ve come to expect it, and—in many cases (largely in cases where no abuse is ever alleged)—we even celebrate it. We celebrate breaking our vows, because our happiness is what matters above all, and, of course, the next best thing will always make us happier than the last.
Again, everyone is created equal—but not every single lifestyle or lifestyle choice is created equal.
