INGREDIENTS :

420 grams penne rigate pasta ( 14.81 oz )
800 grams chopped tomatoes in juice ( 28.21 oz )
2 chopped chilli peppers
5 minced garlic cloves
4 tablespoons olive oil ( 71 ml )
1/4 teaspoon salt ( 0.57 grams )
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper ( 0.58 grams )
1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes ( 0.49 grams )
1/4 teaspoon basil ( 0.12 grams )
grated parmesan ( topping )

INSTRUCTIONS :

.boil 420 grams penne rigate pasta
.in a pan on low to medium heat add 4 tablespoons olive oil
.once heated add 5 minced garlic cloves, cook for 1 to 2 minutes
.add 2 chopped chilli peppers, 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes
.mix well & cook for 1 to 2 minutes
.add 800 grams chopped tomatoes in juice & mix well
.add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
.add 1/4 teaspoon basil & mix well
.cook for 15 to 20 minutes stirring occasionally
.once pasta is soft, drain water
.add pasta to sauce & mix well
.serve with grated parmesan
