A camera trap at Khosrov Forest State Reserve, in Armenia’s Ararat province, captured rare – and cute – footage of a momma bear with her cubs doing some bear activities.
The reserve covers an area of about 23,000 hectares, and its history goes back about 1,700 years. The reserve was named in honor of the King of Armenia Khosrov III Kotak, who ordered the planting of a forest there. It’s now home to species including the Armenian brown bear and the bezoar goat, which are listed in the Red Book of Armenia.
