UNBS STAFF FAINTS BEFORE COSASE COMMITTEE

An official from Uganda National Bureau of Standards John Kiwanuka on Friday fainted before the COSASE committee as MPs quarried him on accountability issues.
The MPs discovered that Mr. Kiwanuka does work on behalf of UNBS and yet payment goes to his accounts of his private company that does the same work.
As Philip Aguta reports, legislators say this causes financial loss to government.
