How to Spot a Narcissist

Narcissism is excessive or erotic interest in oneself and one’s physical appearance.
Traits of Narcissists:
1. Grandiosity. An exaggerated sense of self-importance and believe they are superior to others.
2. Need for admiration: Narcissists often seek constant praise and validation to reinforce their inflated self-image.
3. Lack of empathy: They may struggle to understand or care about the feelings and needs of others.
4. Entitlement: Narcissists tend to feel they deserve special treatment and may become angry or resentful if they don't receive it.
5. Exploitative behavior: They may manipulate or take advantage of others for personal gain or to maintain their own self-esteem.
6. Envy: Narcissists may be envious of others' achievements and may also believe that others are envious of them.
7. Fragile self-esteem: Despite their outward confidence, narcissists often have a fragile self-esteem that is easily threatened by criticism or perceived failure.

How to overcome narcissism:
1. You need to know the truth before that truth can set you free.
2. Repent of pride, manipulation, selfishness, and boasting.
3. Submit to correction.
4. Focus on growing in humility.
5. Draw your identity from God.
6. Deal with issues of your childhood.
