BENCH PRESS FAILED SUCCESSFULLY 😳

This is a clip taken from my recent Comp Bench Press session (Block 3: Week 2) Full video is on my channel!
My warm ups were feeling super good leading up to this. 90 Kgs and 100 kgs felt like the empty bar, so I was all ready and excited to absolutely demolish 110 Kgs, as my top set. However, I was too in to the music, and getting amped up, and my mind was just totally somewhere else while loading the weight, and I ended up unknowingly putting on 120 Kgs; which is technically my current tentative max, and a weight I have only done once before, with my previous 1RM test. So this became a massive 20 KG JUMP, which is a shit ton, when benching heavy, and thus I was not prepared for this, lol. So it definitely did not move quite as smooth as when I last did it, but I am sure that just comes down to the massive jump/not being properly prepped for it. So what was supposed to be an RPE 7.5 set became more like an RPE 9.5, hahaha. Still, at least this is kind of confirmation for myself that I can essentially hit 120 Kgs on any given day. I halved the volume of my back-off work for this session, to help save on fatigue, because I was definitely feeling it, after this one, lol. Hopefully this mishap won't impact my training too much going forward, and I can shoot for a new 1RM, in the new future 🤘🏻
