KIGEZI ARTISANAL MINERS’ ROW; MINISTER NANKABIRWA PLEDGES TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE

The Minister for Energy and Mineral Development, Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu, has taken charge in the dispute between the Kigezi Artisanal Miners Association and Kamuntu Investment Uganda Limited, taken decisive action.
This follows increased tension and threats of havoc between the two disputed mining groups after Kamuntu Investment Uganda Limited acquired the licensed to transport and export raw iron ore minerals.
