After rehabilitation and careful treatment, four seals were released into Lake Ladoga, Leningrad Region.

According to a senior employee at the Friends of the Baltic Seal Foundation, the seals undergo intensive treatment before being released, such as deworming, antibiotic treatment if necessary, and fixing injuries. The foundation also pointed out that the decision to release the baby seals was due to favorable conditions in the lake, as the water is warm, calm, and full of small fish.
