A Week in Paradise for Under $2,000 -- Eleuthera, Bahamas: A Slack Tide travel Guide

Welcome back, all you salty dogs who are sick and tired of the 9 to 5 grind and just want to feel some sand between your toes. On this episode of Slack Tide Adventures, we'll be examining one of my favorite destinations in the Caribbean, the Island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.

Eleuthera is just a 90 minute flight from the coast of Florida and has 150 beautiful, undeveloped beaches. It's an island with only 11,000 residents, so there's plenty of room to spread your wings and get away from everyone. I suggest you endeavor to see as many of those beaches as possible on your trip, do some fishing out of Spanish Wells, and sit in the pink sand on Harbour Island.

In this episode, we'll be reviewing flight options, navigating the island, rental cars, and lodging. Can a couple spend a week in paradise for less that $2,000? You bet they can.

As always, I appreciate any feedback, questions or comments. Feel free to drop me a line at slacktideadventures@gmail.com or in the comments below.
