In this episode......
Herby is depressed when he gets drafted, so the girls try to cheer him up by suggesting it could lead to him becoming an astronaut.
Uncle Joe hears this and decides he needs to promote Herby's future political career to everyone at a town meeting for Herby.
But Herby gets a discharge for a minor medical problem, so Kate has to find a way for him to save face with his girl friend Bobbie Jo............
