The Quran, does not support the belief in the death of Jesus on the cross. According to the Quran (Surah An-Nisa 4:157-158), it states that Jesus was not crucified, but rather, it was made to appear so. Muslims argue that the Quran is a direct revelation from God and provides a different account of Jesus' fate, which contradicts the christian believe, and the holy scripture.

Muslims object to the idea of Jesus being considered divine or ascribing divinity to him. Islam emphasizes the concept of Tawhid, which is the belief in the oneness and unity of God. Muslims believe that associating partners with God (shirk) is the gravest sin. Therefore, elevating Jesus to the status of deity goes against the fundamental Islamic belief in the uniqueness and oneness of God.

Muslims view Jesus as one of the many prophets and messengers sent by God throughout history, including figures like Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Muhammad. They believe that Jesus, like other prophets, was chosen by God to deliver a specific message to his people, emphasizing the worship of God alone. However, Muslims do not consider Jesus to be the Son of God or a divine figure.
