Find out in less than two minutes how to easily add deepness to Muse Sounds brass and percussion instruments.

Important Update For MuseScore 4.1 and Above: The compress method is no longer a suitable fix with the new custom reverb options in MuseScore 4.1. Increasing the volume levels for each individual instrument will better preserve playback details than applying the Squasher compressor.

Tip: Use headphones or a good speaker system to best hear the differences.

0:00: Before adjustments.
0:15: After adjustments.
0:27: 1. Finish your piece and save a backup file.
0:43: 2. Apply the Squasher compressor to highlight instrument details.
1:06: 3. Adjust the master volume until the loudest passages peak around 0db.
1:16: 4. Feel free to experiment for the best playback.
1:20 5. Final thoughts and after adjustments.
