Hello there friends. I did not know what I was going to paint when I set out to paint this. I put the colors on the palette and just went from there. I didn't want the plain colors so I thought I would add something. The tree as you see started as a different color. The Gray was way to dark and think but I still liked it. adding the black brought out the tree and the white accentuates it. and the chaotic “stormy clouds” and the almost fiery foreground with the permanent red and gold.
