Civil war rifle
Henry rifles are on every gun collector's wish list, but this example is more desirable than most. Its condition is fantastic, it has documented Civil War use, and lastly it was captured by Confederate Dr. George O. Brosnaham of the Prattville Dragoons, from Union Sergeant Clinton Kendall during the Atlanta Campaign. It was passed down by Brosnaham's descendants until 1980.
It is among several outstanding and historic Henry rifles in our August Premier Auction.
