Epic Battle Fantasy 4 (PC) - Epic Mode - Part 26: Zombie Hydra Miniboss Fight (All Challenges On)

After retrieving the winged boots from Godcat's lair at the top of the Temple, we can now walk on the clouds surrounding a miniboss in one of the tombs in Graybone Cemetery. Here we find another legacy boss battle against the Zombie Hydra!

This fight works similarly to its initial appearance in Epic Battle Fantasy 2, except now it has three heads instead of just two. It has very powerful physical attacks that can potentially one-shot a party member, and it also has fire and dark magic attacks that can potentially Berserk or inflict instant death on your party, so be sure to get resistance to those. Keep your buffs up and use nothing but AOE attacks to keep the three heads' health as even as possible as well as inflicting the Debuff Trifecta on all three to increase your survivability. Just like in EBF2, the heads can revive each other, so you need to take out all three at once. There's also a new trick to this version of the fight where you can cut the heads off from the neck with an extremely powerful attack, but this can actually make the fight harder, because dislodged heads have higher evasion.
