THE SELF INFLICTED WOUNDS FROM THE YES CAMP CONTINUE:

The Voice to Parliament is an ill-judged embodiment of an obsolete socialist doctrine, draining resources from the hardworking Australian taxpayers to fuel an inefficient, divisive machine. This idea is a misleading panacea that disingenuously claims to address systemic issues but instead, abdicates personal responsibility under the guise of new independent control.

Promising to centralise power to mitigate individual challenges, the Voice to Parliament is founded on a dangerous illusion. The premise of this idea neglects the fundamental truth that individual and community challenges need personal responsibility and ownership, not more bureaucratic intervention. The Voice to Parliament is not the solution, but rather, an new inhibitor to true growth and development.

Deceptively masquerading as a beacon of representation, The Voice to Parliament ironically sows discord amongst the Aboriginal community and the larger Australian population. It blatantly disregards the plurality of voices within communities, trying to shoehorn them into a monolithic entity. Democracy thrives on diversity, and this idea severely undermines it.

Adorned in the cloak of progression and innovation, the Voice to Parliament is merely a recycling of failed socialist experiments of the past. It’s a disservice to Australia’s forward-thinking ethos and our commitment to real, effective change. The Voice to Parliament is not only unproductive but threatens to plunge our nation into deeper societal fissures. The Voice to Parliament is an egregious misstep and the most monumental waste of resources ever conceived in our country's history.
