Amended traffic & road safety law 2023 - Motorists offer divided reactions on 2M traffic penalty

Road users in kampala have asked Government to prioritize improving the state of roads before imposing hefty fines on traffic offenders.
This follows the new traffic and road safety law which imposes a hefty penalty of 2 million Uganda shillings to motorists who fail to comply with the recommended traffic regulations. In a direct conversation with road users, our reporter had divided reactions on the new traffic law.
