According to new research from the Better Business Bureau’s Give.org, a large number of people surveyed have stopped donating to charities.

The report collected data from more than 2,100 adults in the United States and over 1,000 adults in Canada.

It found that people who make a household income of $70,000 or less thought that wealthier residents should be giving more money to charities.

Wes Lafortune, the manager of communications and media with the southern Alberta BBB, detailed a few of the key findings within the report.
