Bye bye BINANCE you're done for | A WAR is being RAGED upon you RIGHT NOW

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has charged Binance Holdings Ltd., its U.S.-based affiliate BAM Trading Services Inc., and their founder, Changpeng Zhao, with a variety of securities law violations.

The SEC alleges that Binance and Zhao operated unregistered securities exchanges, broker-dealers, and clearing agencies, misled investors about their risk controls and trading volumes, manipulated trading, and commingled billions of investor assets.

Additionally, the SEC alleges that they operated Binance.US behind the scenes while publicly claiming it as a separate entity for U.S. investors. The complaint also states that Binance engaged in the unregistered offer and sale of its own crypto assets and that Zhao is liable for Binance's and BAM Trading's respective registration violations.

The SEC's charges arise from their investigation into Binance's violation of registration-related provisions of federal securities laws, and the case will move forward under the guidance of the SEC’s Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit.
