Huge avalanche hits Kabardino-Balkarian mountains due to soaring temperatures

An avalanche came down at high speed near the Donguz-Orun glacier in Kabardino-Balkaria in Russia. For several days, the temperatures in the region were warm and area brightly sunlit. Such weather conditions are believed to be the main cause of the avalanche.

The incident occurred at a safe distance from people and no casualties reported.
