Angels Acquire Eduardo Escobar

The Angels acquired Eduardo Escobar Friday night essentially making the 1st significant deal before the August 1st deadline. The Angels recently lost Gio Urshela for the year after he tore his ACL after tripping over the 1st base bag against the Rangers and Anthony Rendon landing on the DL once again a move seemed imminent for the Halos and they got their man with Escobar. Escobar is on the final year of his 2 year, 20 million dollar deal with the Mets and has been a name that has been rumored to be on the move for the Mets all season. With Escobar now with Angels does this make the Angels better or was this a deal that won't mean much in the long run???
