Lionel Messi reflects on last year's World Cup in Qatar, where the Argentina legend finally captured the one major trophy that had eluded him up to that point.

'La Albiceleste' recovered from a stunning defeat to Saudi Arabia in the opening game of their campaign and went on to complete a penalty shoot-out win over defending champion France in the final, where Messi went head-to-head with his then Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Kylian Mbappe.

"To have achieved the objectives with the Argentina national team and to have achieved everything at an individual level, at a team level, for me it is close to an extraordinary career," said the 36-year-old.
