Muslims and Addiction Part 4: Coming July 7th, 2023 إن شاء الله

Welcome to my channel, where we discuss Iman, health, and resilience! My channel is brand new (as of May 26, 2023), and I plan to upload every other week inshAllah. I aim to upload once a week as I get the hang of all this. At the moment, I'm trying to manage my time while holding a full-time day job, wife, and five kids. 😊
If you find this information beneficial, please share إن شاء الله .

WHO AM I:
For so long, after reverting to Islam, I wondered why I couldn’t become the Muslim I needed to be. Then after decades of trial and error, I found that I could reverse engineer my challenges and find solutions.

📚
This is part three of a four-part series on addiction. I feel it’s beneficial to dig into the causes of our many life challenges, such as:

- Not practicing the Deen to our full potential.
- Not being able to stick to a diet or exercise plan.
- Why am I feeling anxious or defeated lately?
- Why do I feel annoyed with others and prefer to be alone?
- Why do I feel unmotivated
- Why can't I finish what I start?

Life is hard, but over the last 51 years, I've learned quite a bit about what drove me to fail with my mental and physical health, relationships, work, and finances.

I’m by no means near my goals as a Muslim, Husband, Father, or Friend, but I must do my best each day, even if I only improve by 1%.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely, and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little."
This applies to our personal development as well inshAllah.
