‘No other option’ but to arm Kiev – German defense minister

Most German citizens would rather spend the funds going to Ukraine on resolving domestic issues, German defense minister Boris Pistorius has said, while arguing that ‘there's no other choice’.

The Defense minister's speech came shortly after anti-NATO protests near the US Ramstein Air Base in Germany, in response to the EU's decision to increase military aid to Ukraine by €3.5 billion.
