President Putin calls fight against Wagner Group a fight for “life and security”

In his response to the rebellion stoked by the Wagner Group, President Putin emphasized the severity of the uprising. He said Russia must now fight for the “life and security” of the people to maintain sovereignty and secure the right to be “a state with a thousand years of history”.
