Sunday Longplay is back with a ROM Hack of one of the greatest NES games ever made! Welcome to Megankreuzstilette! Despite the title of this hack, it's not an 8-bit demake of the PC game Rosenkreuzstilette (which I have also played on my channel). Instead, it's an original Mega Man game with an art style similar to the aforementioned PC game but in 8 bits, with multiple paths through most of the stages (which have been made longer in this hack compared to the base Mega Man 3) and hidden power-ups in each stage including one super secret in Hard Man's stage that requires his weapon to access, meaning you have to play the stage a second time to find it.

This is also the first Mega Man hack I've played with an animated background (in the last stage, specifically). The graphics are impeccable, though they can make it confusing as to what's foreground and what's background in some stages.

It's also worth noting that the weakness order has been changed around, so memorizing the weakness order for the OG Mega Man 3 will not help you here!
