Colin Rogers ICU PT 8 1:30 am incident

About 1:30 AM June 18th Collins sodium level exceeded the doctors desired limits. This is a bad thing because we don’t want to different occurrences happening at the same time. Meaning we’ve got brain swelling and you don’t want to complicate that situation with other medical situation so we’re trying to keep him in a stable physical manner so he can overcome the brain swelling which is going to be the biggest problem so several doctors were called in late in the middle of the night. We didn’t know what to do. It was very, very unsettling.. they adjust their medication‘s daily to what his body is telling them.

So every morning between 9 and 11 AM. There are 5 to 7 physicians and physician aids to get together and hold the morning meeting to talk about their strategy for Collins care in the coming day, it’s actually very very settling to see this many people get together and provide the best care possible. It makes me extremely happy. In a very sad, sad situation.

I will add a small tidbit of that in the future videos.
