Indian PM moves to grant African Union full G20 membership ahead of summit

The Indian prime minister has moved to make the world more inclusive, amplifying the voice of countries from the Global South, especially African nations, on international platforms.

Narendra Modi has reportedly written to his counterparts in the G20, proposing that the African Union be given full membership of the group ahead of its upcoming September summit in New Delhi.
