A ferry in the Philippines carrying 120 passengers and crewmembers caught fire at sea. A coast guard vessel was deployed to rescue those on board and try to extinguish the flames, officials said.
The M/V Esperanza Star burst into flames while traveling from Siquijor province to Bohol province in the central Philippines. It is not immediately if there are any casualties and what caused the inferno.
